1. Information We Handle
To provide FlightMates, we may handle your account information (username, Badge Name, password-verification information and authentication token), flight records (flight number, date, route, flight type, notes and crew list), crew details (name, rank and favourites), an avatar that you choose to upload, and support information you choose to include in an email. Our server may also generate necessary access, security and error logs.
2. How We Use Information
We use this information only to provide and maintain your account, save and display flight records, support crew search and co-flight features, process photo imports, look up flight routes, respond to support requests, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.
3. Offline Cache
To support offline viewing, FlightMates stores recent flight records, crew information and avatar data on your device. This cache is associated with the signed-in user and is refreshed when newer server information is available. Removing the app or its data may remove the local cache.
4. Storage and Security
Account and flight information are stored on FlightMates servers. Crew lists are stored in encrypted form. Passwords are not stored in plain text; the server stores password-verification information. Authentication tokens are used to maintain the signed-in session. Our server may also retain necessary access, security and error logs. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
5. Photo Import and Vision Processing
When you voluntarily use Import Photo, the selected image is sent to the FlightMates server and then submitted through the SiliconFlow AI API (Beijing SiliconFlow Technology Co., Ltd.) solely to extract flight and crew information. According to SiliconFlow’s current Privacy Policy, it treats model inputs and related outputs as business/customer data, processes that data according to the customer’s instructions, and states that it does not store such business/customer data in the platform service except where required by law, product rules, or a specific support arrangement. SiliconFlow may still process necessary network logs, device/usage information, and service-performance data for security and operation. Please upload only images that you are authorised to use and avoid including unrelated sensitive information.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. For photo import, we share the selected image and the minimum request information needed for recognition with SiliconFlow through its AI API. For route lookup, the flight number and, where provided, flight date may be sent to aviationstack (powered by apilayer) to return route and scheduled-time information. The app also downloads the public-domain OurAirports airport directory to look up IATA airport codes and city information; this directory download does not include your account or flight records. We may share information with service providers where required to operate or protect the service, where required by applicable law, or with your express consent. Each independent provider’s handling is governed by its own privacy policy and applicable product terms.
7. Retention and Deletion
You can delete individual flight records in the app, or permanently delete your account from Settings by entering your current password. Account deletion removes your account, flight records, crew data, and locally cached flight data associated with the account, and cannot be undone. Server-side avatar files generated by our API are also removed when associated with the account. Data held by independent service providers may be subject to their own retention and deletion policies. To protect accounts, password-reset requests may require your username, Badge Name and a recently entered flight record.
8. Children
FlightMates is not intended for individuals under 16. If you believe a child has supplied personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version and effective date will be available in the app. Continued use of FlightMates after an update means that you accept the revised policy.

3. 离线缓存
为支持离线查阅，FlightMates 会在设备上保存近期航班记录、机组资料和头像缓存。该缓存与已登录账户关联，并会在服务器资料更新后刷新。删除 App 或其数据可能会删除本地缓存。
4. 服务器存储与安全
账户和航班信息保存在 FlightMates 服务器上；机组名单以加密形式保存。密码不会以明文保存，服务器仅保存用于密码验证的信息。认证 token 用于维持登录状态。服务器也可能保留必要的访问、安全和错误日志。我们采取合理的技术和组织措施，但任何传输或电子存储方式都无法保证绝对安全。
5. 图片导入与视觉处理
您主动使用图片导入时，所选图片会发送至 FlightMates 服务器，并通过硅基流动（北京硅基流动科技有限公司）的 AI API，仅为提取航班及机组信息而进行处理。根据硅基流动现行隐私政策，其将模型输入及相关输出视为业务和客户数据，按照客户指令处理，并说明除法律、产品规则或特定技术支持安排要求外，原则上不会在平台服务中存储该等业务和客户数据；但其仍可能为服务安全和运营处理必要的网络日志、设备/使用信息及服务性能数据。请仅上传您有权使用的图片，并避免包含无关的敏感信息。
6. 信息共享
我们不会出售或出租个人信息。处理图片导入时，我们会通过硅基流动 AI API 共享所选图片及完成识别所必需的最少请求信息。查询航班路线时，航班号及（如有提供）航班日期可能发送给aviationstack（由 apilayer 维护），以返回航线及计划时间信息。App 也会下载OurAirports 公共领域机场目录，用于查询 IATA 机场代码及城市信息；该目录下载不包含您的账户或航班记录。我们也可能在运营或保护服务、遵守适用法律，或获得您明确同意所必需的范围内，与服务提供商共享信息。各独立服务提供商对数据的处理受其自身隐私政策及适用产品条款约束。
7. 保存与删除
您可在 App 内删除单条航班记录，也可在设置页输入当前密码永久删除账户。删除账户会删除账户、航班记录、机组资料，以及与账户关联的本地航班缓存，且无法恢复。由我们 API 生成并与账户关联的服务器头像文件也会一并删除。独立服务提供商持有的数据可能受其自身保存和删除政策约束。为保护账户安全，重置密码时可能需要用户名、显示名称及近期航班记录。
8. 未成年人
FlightMates 不面向 16 周岁以下人士。如果您认为儿童在未取得适当同意的情况下提供了个人信息，请联系我们。
9. 政策变更
我们可能不时更新本隐私政策。最新版本及生效日期会在 App 内提供；在政策更新后继续使用 FlightMates，即表示您接受修订后的政策。
